Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3: Game Preview

Call of duty: Modern Warfare 3 is set to release on November 8, 2011. It is the sequel to Modern Warfare 2. Activision released four video teasers on Youtube on May 13, 2011. The four trailers were separately titled "America," "England," "France" and "Germany." The trailer names are an indication of the nations that Modern Warfare 3 will take place.

Modern Warfare 3 story

This game picks up right where the second one left off with Soap and Price fleeing the wasteland with Nikolai, a Russian informant. The game's antagonist, Makarov, is still on the run. The focus shifts away from Task Force 141 to a Delta Force team. The war between America and Russia continues, and it is up to the delta force to protect New York City early in the game.

Infinity Ward returns as the game's main developers; however, due to an ongoing feud between Activision and the founders of Infinity Ward, Activision enlisted the help of developers Sledgehammer games and Raven Software.

Modern Warfare 3 gameplay

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will feature a new survival gameplay mode. In this mode, allows two players to fight through multiple levels. With every completed level, the enemies become more difficult. Each kill rewards the player with money to purchase new guns, ammo and equipment. Head shots, accuracy and avoiding damage earn players more money. During E3 on June 6, 2011, Robert Bowling and Glen Schofield presented the first live gameplay demo.

Modern Warfare 3 characters

Modern Warfare 3 will feature familiar characters and some new characters. Price, Soap and Nikolai return as the game's main characters, but new characters from the delta force will play an important part of the game's story. Sandman is the leader of the delta force team, and Frost is his main operative. Yuri is a Russian secret agent that assists in finding Makarov. Sergeant Marcus Burns works for the special air force and fights in London.

Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer

The multiplayer will be similar to past titles; however, Raven Software is the leading developer for the multiplayer. Because of this, the multiplayer may function differently than past games. As time progresses, Activision will leak more information regarding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
